Ab und zu ist es informativ, die Hardware zu erfragen . . .

Ob das Programm "dmidecode" überall verfügbar ist, ist mir nicht bekannt. Unter opensuse funktioniert es. - dmidecode | grep -i product

Beispiel-Antwort :
